1. Booking Confirmation & Deposit
A booking is formally confirmed once an agreed booking contract or written agreement (via email) has been acknowledged by both the client and The 145's, and the agreed booking deposit (typically 20%) has been received. The deposit secures your performance date exclusively.
2. Balance Payment
The remaining balance must be settled either via bank transfer at least 7 days prior to the event date, or in cash upon arrival at the venue before the start of the first live set, unless alternative written terms have been mutually agreed.
3. Venue & Technical Requirements
The client is responsible for ensuring the venue provides a safe, covered, dry, and flat performance area of at least 4m x 3m with a minimum of two independent 13-amp (240V) power sockets situated within 10 meters of the stage. The band provides all PAT-tested amplification, PA, and stage lighting.
4. Setup, Soundcheck & Access
The 145's typically require 60 to 90 minutes for load-in, setup, and soundcheck. The client must ensure that adequate parking for two vehicles and unimpeded access to the performance area are arranged with the venue.
5. Sound Limiters & Volume
The 145's are an authentic, live drums and electric guitar indie rock covers band. While the band maintains volume control, venues equipped with aggressively low decibel limiters (below 92dB) must be disclosed prior to booking to ensure mutual expectations can be met.
6. Cancellation Policy
If the client cancels the booking more than 60 days before the event, the deposit may be refunded or transferred to a mutually agreed new date (subject to availability). For cancellations within 30 days of the performance date, the deposit is non-refundable. In the extraordinary circumstance that the band is unable to perform due to unforeseen emergency or illness, all fees paid will be immediately refunded in full and every effort made to recommend trusted substitute acts.
7. Insurance & Compliance
The 145's carry full Public Liability Insurance (PLI) up to £10,000,000 and all electrical equipment is inspected and PAT certified. Certificates are available upon request for venue verification.
